Kerry comes from Irish stock and her grandmother, Roseanna, was a famous Dublin flower seller who would walk the streets with her barrow in much the same way as the young lady of Ireland’s most famous ballad, Molly Mallone. Against a background of soft yellow, white roses are flushed with raspberry-pink. The variety that Kerry chose is called ‘Mother’s Love’. The flower weaves its way around every inch of the vase not unlike the warmth of a mother’s love. According to Victorians, the white rose indicates love, and indeed nothing is more pure than a mother’s love.
